Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword is the second expansion pack for this famous RTS, Sid Meier's Civilization 4. This expansion focuses on the period of time that elapses after the invention of gunpowder.

Complete your game with the eleven new scenarios included in Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword. But also, with its ten new civilizations (Portugal, Netherlands, Babylon, etc), sixteen new leaders, five new wonders, and a variety of units.

As a new feature Beyond the Sword allows players to found companies and spread the profits around the world in exchange for certain resources, or spy on your opponents. And like all great game, it also presents its own level of difficulty, because apart from having to defend your territories, you must also deal with other events such as natural disasters or the demands of citizens.

Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword has the same graphics engine that's already boasted by its predecessor Civilization 4, with which you can enjoy every battle in great detail. Of course, unlike the latter, Civilization 4: Beyond the Sword has a much more advanced artificial intelligence, providing a constant challenge throughout the game.
